Surviving a Riot After a Heated
Political Election
By Lance Winslow
The political unrest in the United States during the
present period is significant, and as usual all Americans
are told that they have a choice, between the lesser of
two evils. Many are tired of such choices but others are
"all in" and backing the candidate of their choice. Thus,
the outcome of the election will mean a major change in
power and direction for our great nation.
But, what if some of the fringe supports are emboldened
by a win of a certain candidate or what if they protest
if that candidate loses. We have often seen racially
charged riots during major decisions in the past. Could
this happen in a close US Election? Unfortunately, the
answer is yes and let me explain why?
For far too long poor folks have been told that they have
been repressed and the reason they are not higher up on
the economic social scale is because they have been held
back by other races, the government, leadership or
corporations. They have thus, come to believe this.
Because they believe this, politicians wanting to get
elected repeat this mantra and use it to rally their
support and hopefully their votes. Those in such a
socio-economic situation believe their only chance it the
politician which claims to redistribute the money that
was taken from the money they could have had.
This is how a heated political election can set up a
scenario for a riot after the election, especially if the
turn-out is large but the election is very close. We
noted this exact scenario during the last presidential
election in Mexico. Now many say that could not happen
here. Well, sure it could, so please think on this and
protect your family.
