Voting is your civic duty as well as a privilege

On November 4th US citizens will once again vote for a new president, 1/3 of our US senate and all the members of our current congress. There will be countless state as well as local elections taking place along with innumerable referendums placed on the ballot that same day. We will all be directly impacted by the various results of these elections while all of us will be indirectly effected in the months and years which follow.

As first responders, EMTs, paramedics or survivalists you have already chosen to become involved in some aspect of your community. You have shown how civic minded you actually are. You tend to contribute a considerable amount of your time, your talent and your compassion towards helping your fellow citizens whenever you react to a local emergency. Usually this community commitment comes at a high cost of work, lose of your personal interests or less time being spent with your friends and family members.

Since you are are already an active member of your community you should make it a priority to properly cast your ballot on or prior to November 4. In the event that you are scheduled to work on election day you can do your best to cast your absentee ballot prior to the 3rd of November.

Remember, we must vote and we must vote intelligently.
