Time change is also a time for
preparedness by Joseph Parish
Delmarva Survival Training would like to remind people to
change fire alarm and radio batteries at this time. It is
also a good time to inspect your bug out bags to ensure
that they are ready whenever an emergency should strike
your area.
With Daylight Saving Time ending today Delmarva Survival
Training would like to encourage area residents to change
their batteries in any Weather Radio and smoke alarms
that they may have. They are encouraged to inspect all
their food and water rations in their emergency supply
kits in order to make sure that they are fresh and ready
for any emergency conditions.
Never underestimate your emergency equipment. Your radio
provides listeners with real-time information required
ion the event of a local community emergencies whether
these disasters are natural or man-made.
According to Joseph Parish, Owner and operator of
Delmarva Survival Training "Your radios represent not
only one of the major means of emergency officials
alerting the public to various disaster conditions but
they are your life-link to emergency data during a
crisis."
Delmarva Survival Training has continually place
considerable importance upon preparedness kits that will
ultimately provide a measure of safety for yourself and
your family. Parish actively encourages area residents to
invest the necessary time needed to exchange their water,
food and other consumables that are contained in their
survival kits and to replace them with fresh items.
