Delmarva Survival Training to Offer more
Emergency Preparedness Training
by Joseph Parish
Emergency preparedness is not something
reserved only for first responders or government personnel. In
fact Delmarva Survival Training is scheduling a series of
seminars that will be held in Delmar Delaware during the month
of November and December to help you get ready in the event of a
major disaster.
These crises can be as small as a lengthy power outage or it can
be as dramatic as a terror attack. Delmarva Survival Training
owner Joseph Parish points out that "People should now be
thinking about their ability to cope with various emergency
conditions." The sessions are usually one or two hour classes
created to provide people with the necessary basics of which to
survive any emergency that they should encounter.
They will learn for example what items to pack in their
emergency kit; how to shelter in place; communicating during an
crisis situation and even what you should do with your family
pet when you are required to evacuate your home.
The free classes are currently in the planning stage and when
established will be listed on the website as well as in the
guide. To attend one of the classes you only need to show up
however you must register in advance for them by sending your
request to info@survival-training.info or by calling
302-536-7249.
The next class is being held at 6:30 PM at the New Place in Town
Restaurant in Delmar Delaware on November 4th. It involves
reloading of ammunition and is being taught by Wayne Lukert.
Hope to see you then.
