Police: Person of Interest Now a Suspect in Missing Girl Case

SALISBURY,Md.- The Wicomico County Bureau of Investigations says a suspect is in custody in connection with the disappearance of an 11-year-old Salisbury girl.

Police say Sarah Haley Foxwell was last seen at her home on the 31000 block of Old Ocean City Road on Tuesday night. She was wearing red fuzzy pajama bottoms with Christmas trees on them and a John Deere T-shirt.

According to the Wicomico County Sheriff, the man considered a person of interest is now a suspect in her disappearance. He is now in police custody. Police have not yet identified the suspect.

A search for Foxwell is being conducted in the area between Zion and Zion Church roads.

Foxwell is described as white, brown hair that is worn in a ponytail, blue eyes, 4-foot-8, 78 pounds. Her date of birth is May 18, 1998.
