Winter Storm Warning Issued for Much of Md., Del. and D.C.

More winter weather is on the way. The National Weather Services has issued a winter storm warning for central and southern Maryland, the District of Columbia, northern Virginia, the upper Eastern Shore and Delaware.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning from Sunday night through Monday at 2 p.m. for Caroline, Queen Anne's, and Talbot counties in Md., and Kent and Sussex counties in Del.; and until 12 p.m. Monday for Dorchester, Somerset, Wicomico, and Worcester counties in Md.

After 5 p.m. Sunday afternoon, expect snow to begin and total accumulations of 3 to 6 inches for the south and 6 to 12 inches for the north.
