HILLBILLY HIPPIE'S PREDICTIONS FOR 2009

I don't have a crystal ball, have psychic powers, or claim to have the gift of prophecy. The predictions listed below are merely my informed guess on what the future holds for the United States of America in 2009:

1. Barack Hussein Obama will be inaugurated on January 20th without major incident. Some lone kook may try something, but he/she will fail.

2. Immediately upon taking office Obama will issue several Executive Orders that will piss off approximately 50% of the nation including orders involving, abortion, stem cell research, and the ceasing of oil exploration and drilling within certain regions of the U.S. and off its shores.

3. Nearly 100,000 businesses (some large, some small, some in between) will be forced into bankruptcy and liquidation. This sudden failure of businesses will begin in February and increasingly worsen.

4. A second-wave of the mortgage crisis will begin, which will expedite #3 and within 2-3 months force President Obama to issue a “Banking Holiday”. (This will be the first spark)

5. Oil prices will begin to slowly rise again during the first quarter of the year and steadily increase throughout the year due mostly to decisions and policies implemented by the new administration and 111th congress. Another, smaller reason for this increase will be caused by more unrest in the Middle East and due to a growing “unease” between the United States and Russia.

6. By the end of spring, Obama and congress will enact laws that will create universal health care for all residents of the U.S. (legal or illegal residents). This won't begin to show its financial colors until 2010 (should we make it that far).

7. By summer, President Obama will implement his Economic Plan of Salvation which will include forcing individuals of all ages to work performing “civil duties”, although part of his plan will include a stimulus that helps everyone. (This will be the second spark)

8. With the heavy loss of employment, administrative policies, and rise in oil prices, food prices will begin to increase, as well as electricity, natural gas, coal, wood, tires, auto parts, motor oil, and other daily essentials for living. (This will add to the previous sparks)

9. The “Fairness Doctrine” will return under a different title along with plans to restrict certain websites within the U.S.

10. By summer another terrorist attack will hit the United States and Obama will call for more “domestic-type” protection which will create a Civilian Defense Force, Eco-Cops, and larger police forces. For the first time, the United States will actually look like a Police State to even the biggest of idiots who could not see it before. (This will be the third spark)

11. Rumors and threats of succession, revolution, and/or civil war will begin by the end of summer.

12. By the beginning of autumn 25% of the U.S. population will be unemployed and the U.S. dollar will be showing extreme signs of weakness. The rest of the world will already be acknowledging that we have entered an Economic Depression. Mass rioting will be taking place worldwide fueled by lack of employment and increasing food prices.

13. Raids and arrests will begin to be common place on “compounds”, “hate groups”, and any extremely outspoken “patriots”.

14. By mid-fall the vast majority of Americans will be unable to pay for all of their daily needs – many will begin to go hungry and “home-invasion” crimes will go through the roof.

15. A serious debate and possible legislative action concerning the tight control or outright banning of firearms will take place due to the “fear” the general public is gripped by.

16. Movements will continue to grow to succeed from the Union, refurbish the Constitution, and launch revolutionary or civil war.

The end of 2009 (from autumn to winter) will be the deciding factor considering exactly what is to be the actual course of the United States of America (if any) in the future. Unless the United States is drawn into a major war before the spring of 2010 it will be almost certain that a revolutionary or civil war will erupt within the United States of America by the late spring of 2010. The only thing that would stop this is if somehow the economy picked-up (not going to happen), Obama didn't make these decisions (I think he will), or I grossly underestimated how quickly Obama and his commie goon-squad will squash any and all causers of descent (ie. detaining or killing approximately 500,000 to 1 million die-hard America lovers).

Of course, the size of the terrorist attack that will occur under Obama's dictatorship will also affect future events (nothing is concrete). If the size and scale is grand enough there may be no uprising at all.

No matter what, I predict that the United States of America will officially be a Police State (without a doubt) by the end of 2009 and that descent will be everywhere.
