Affordable" By Joseph Parish. You know that you need to store up on food in the
event of an emergency however, there are always things that pop up and demand
priority over your food storage dollars. The car may need fixing; the washing
machine just died on you or the refrigerator is on the blink. If it isn’t one
thing it’s another.

" Storing your flour and making Olive Oil Bread" By Joseph Parish. I store up on
a lot of food in the event that we have an emergency or a situation develops
where food may not be readily available. As such, I on occasion, purchase food
in bulk. A sample of this would be flour. However, flour as everyone knows can
readily become buggy.

" Quick food storage camouflaging" By Joseph Parish. I am one of the privileged
people that has a separate food storage area however many people lack the
suitable space to stockpile even small quantities of food let alone to provide
storage for a complete years supply. Their shelves and closets are required for
necessary items such as clothing and dishes. This just does not leave extra
places to put those cans of food. It is thus apparent that one must exercise
their imagination to create a means for storing that extra food in the event
that an emergency situation presents itself.

interesting concept and experiment that most canners have to try is canning your
garden fresh produce with the use of an outdoor turkey fryer. Yes, that’s right
the kind where you normally fill it with oil and place the turkey in it to cook.
Only with this use you place water in it.

March 07, 2008 - "Freezing excess Cabbage the right way" By Joseph Parish.
Occasionally good deals come along and it becomes desirable to grab up a lot of
a certain vegetable. This was the case with cabbage. However, lets face it no
matter how much you like cabbage enough is enough. Jus the same when you are
afforded the opportunity to find cabbage for ten cents per pound you want to
store up as much as you can. Unfortunately if left alone the cabbage would go
bad in a short period of time.

March 07, 2008 - "Canning that tasty Lobster" By Joseph Parish. During the Y2K
scare I was determined to not only be really prepared but to do it in style. Now
when I say really I mean really. I didn’t want to just survive. I wanted to do
it in a style that I was accustomed to. I went out and purchased a 30 plus foot
motor home specifically for Y2K and proceeded to equip it with the finer things
in life. I stocked up on bottles of red and white wine (This was really a good
excuse I think), cans of crab meat and of course lots of canned shrimp and
lobster. It was not until later after Y2K that I discovered exactly how easy and
economical it was to can my own lobsters in place of purchasing those cans which

survivalists if solicited as to the primary item which they would store up on
for an emergency it has to be water. You should always plan for at least one
gallon of water per day per person. With this requirement for fresh drinking
water in an emergency you should have some idea as to what you can store that
water in.

"What If a Blizzard Came - The making of a Blizzard Survival Bag" By Joseph
Parish. Here you are driving in North Dakota in the middle of winter. You have
the radio turned on and winter weather warnings are in effect for the complete
state. The outside temperature is down around the 10 to 20 degree mark with wind
speeds in excess of 40 miles per hour. You have been moving slowly at a snails
pace since it is difficult to see ten feet in front of you. No other cars have
been sighted for the last 40 minutes.

to Firearm Safety. As a responsible survivalist we should all bear in mind these
important safety precautions and have them permanently engraved within our minds

conventions will governor all our actions associated with the use of firearms.
