December 31, 2008 - "Coping With a Traumatic Event"

support.

December 31, 2008 - "Preparing for a
Terrorist Bombing: A Common Sense Approach" Although terrorists use a variety of
methods to inflict harm and create fear, bombs are used most frequently.
According to the U. S. Federal Bureau of Investigation, bombings accounted for
nearly 70 percent of all terrorist attacks in the U.S. and its territories
between 1980 and 20011. This document focuses on common sense
principles that will be useful in a bombing event.

December 31, 2008 - We started a small news area on
the site to list any important survival related news. It is still in the
experimental stage and the format may change until we get the correct and proper
one.
December 30, 2008 - "Thermal protective aid"
Now here is a good idea of an item to keep in the bug out bag. Heat retention
would certainly not be a problem with this suit that's for sure. Why could it
not be used for land as well as sea?

December 30, 2008 - "On the importance of
Survival Kits during Blackouts" By Joseph Parish. As soon as any sort of
emergency situation is over the people involved usually vow that they will be
well prepared should the same thing happen to them in the future. The problem is
that when disaster strikes again they are generally no better prepared the
second time then they were the first.

"Edible Plants of the Wild". this is a short Zip file which contains a list of
the various plants and pictures of them also. Included are some of the more
dangerous plants which should be avoided. Click

A
priest and pastor from the local parishes were standing at the side of the road
holding up a sign that reads; "The end is near! Turn yourself around now before
it's too late!" They planned to hold up the sign to each passing car. "Leave us
alone you religious nuts!" Yelled the first driver as he sped by. From around
the curve they heard screeching tires and a big splash. "Do you think," said one
clergy to the other, "We should just put up a sign that says 'Bridge out'
instead?"
December 29, 2008 - "Campfire trout the easy
way" by Joseph Parish. Remember many years ago when you would go fishing and the temptation was
just too much for you. You simply had to eat that fine looking trout before you
got home? You would build yourself a comfortable camp fire and start to prepare
your catch right away. Click

December 29, 2008 - "Canned Deer Meat" I
guess this would be a good time to place this recipe on the site since the deer
season will net the hunters some good pickins'

December 29, 2008 - "Granny know how when
dealing with Bee Stings" by Joseph parish. When it comes to bee stings there can be no doubt in my
mind that granny knew best. If you search around I am sure that you will
encounter at least a dozen or so different remedies that originate from
someone’s family tree telling you how to deal with stings experienced by bees
and wasps.

emergency generator.

December 26, 2008 - "Conversion Van BOV" I
recently have been provided the opportunity to purchase a very comfortable
conversion van. I fully realize that using a conversion van as a BOV certainly
does not provide me and my family with the luxury life that we would expect from
an RV being used as a BOV however it also forsakes the discomfort that would be
associated with sleeping in an uncomfortable tent.

December
25, 2008 - Well It sure does look like I should have kept my old Bug out vehicle
as this new one is nothing but trouble. The worse part of the whole deal is that
I have to pay to have any repairs made even though I have only had it for a
month. All I can say is beware if you purchase a car from Carrolls Motors in
Delmar Delaware. Click here
December 25, 2008 - Looks like a couple of
border patrol agents were thrown in jail for doing their job..... "shooting and
wounding, in the line of duty, a fleeing illegal alien drug smuggler trying to
bring almost 800 pounds
of marijuana into the U.S. This petition is asking GWB to pardon them and free
them from jail. Personally, these guys should have gotten medals.

December 25, 2008 - "Storing Condiments" I
would like to share a little hint with my site visitors. If you happen to think
that I am a little on the weird side then think about what I am going to say for
just a little bit longer.
Regardless of what I happen to be doing I am always on the lookout for anything
that relates to survival. In this case I am referring to the free condiment
packages which are usually provided with fast food. I currently have managed to
save a small pail of these valuable items as well as purchasing many of my own.

child should have a Christmas without a toy! I want to wish all my visitors a very safe and Merry Christmas.
December 24, 2008 - "Prepare Yourself For
Crime" Big cities or small towns, it does not matter. What ever area you may be
located in, preparing for crime in advance is a sure fire method for success. It
will build confidence and educate rather than have you living in fear waiting to
be a victim. Click here
December 23, 2008 - "Surviving a Riot After a
Heated Political Election" The political unrest in the United States during the
present period is significant, and as usual all Americans are told that they
have a choice, between the lesser of two evils. Many are tired of such choices
but others are "all in" and backing the candidate of their choice.

December 22, 2008 - "Tips for surviving a
riot" With the national election coming to a close today I have come to the
realization that no matter what the outcome, 50% of America will be
disappointed. There have been numerous claims that if Barack Hussein Obama had
not been chosen as "The One" to lead America then there will be rioting in the
streets. Click here

18, 2008 - "Americans Just Won't Prepare" People are interested in survival. I
have personally seen traffic to this blog explode in the last few weeks as we
prepare for the transition to the regime of the next President of the U.S.
Anyone who has spent anytime reading this blog knows that I advocate planning
ahead and preparing for the disasters that are vastly becoming all too common.
Unfortunately I have seen this personally where people do not take the time to
learn to prepare. Click here
December 17, 2008 - Just leave it up to Google to come up with something
like this.
Here's a number worth putting in your cell phone, or your home phone
speed dial: 1-800-goog411 or 1-800-466-4411. This is an awesome
service from Google, and it's free -- great when you are on the
road. Don't waste your money on information calls and don't waste your
time manually dialing the number.

Spices are the basis for flavoring your barbecue. They are many and are
everywhere in the world. In days of old they were a sign of wealth. They were
traded, and the quest for them has spawned new nations and caused wars. Anyone
who knows me is aware of how I like to make my own mixtures up for both personal
and for the resteraunt use. click

never know for sure if we are selecting the proper course of hunkering down or
perhaps to bug out.
